Movie Date Night

Once you get back home, you decide to call Adela.

"Hey Oscar." She says.

"Hey."

"How was your day?"

"Pretty good. Especially that video."

"So you liked it?"

"I loved it."

"That's good to hear."

"So we're still on for tonight?"

"Yep. Movie starts at 7:45."

"Awesome. See you then Adela."

"See you."

After your Uber pulls over, you head into Goldberg Film House. It's a rather small venue that's been around for fifty years, but it has it's following, often playing indie films or classics from decades past. Adela is waiting for you, wearing jeans and a hoodie. As soon as she locks eyes with you, she rushes towards you and gives you a tight hug and a bold kiss on the lips. After the kiss, you say "Missed me?"

"Just excited."

"Yeah?"

"I already bought tickets."

"Cool. You want any snacks?"

"Yeah some popcorn, and a coke would be great too."

"Sure."

You head to the snack bar and make the order for an extra large popcorn and two drinks, the price of which made you wished you had smuggled in some snacks instead. Once your back with Adela, you follow her to the right cinema where you sit in the back. Whilst the ads play, the two of you munch and slurp your way through the snacks you paid for.

Soon enough the movie starts and you're treated to a shlocky time of gore, boobs, and jump scares. Part of you wonders how Adela is coping with the movie, but the manic smile on her face is almost concerning as it is comforting. Once it's over, you head outside, where Adela says "Enjoy that?"

"Yeah, it was pretty fun."

"You know, I feel like a walk? Could we head to your place?"

"Sure."
