Mother's Punishment

"What do you two think you're doing?" their mother suddenly yells, stopping Rose as she was about to scream at Mike.

"It was an accident," Mike responds quickly before turning to Rose. "Sorry, I really didn't mean to."

"I don't care if it was an accident," their mother tells them, pulling her chair out from the table, but not taking her eyes off of Mike. "Get over here now."

"But mum..." Mike begins to plead.

"I said get over here now!"

Mike slowly rises, making his way around the table, shivering a little as he stands before his mother.
