Mostly Indifferent

Rose opened the door, and quickly was shoved aside by her sister Jessica. Without any more than a huff, she locked the door behind her. Rose blinked for a moment, before continuing towards the stairs.

She rounded the corner, now fully in view of both the living room and kitchen area. She noticed her dad fast asleep on the couch and smiled. A noise from the kitchen made Rose jump, and nearly lose the grip on her towel.

Rose’s mother was busy putting away some groceries she had just gotten at the store, and looked over towards her daughter. She ended up doing a double take, since from where she stood she had a clear view all the way down the side of her bare body in the small gap where the towels had failed to meet up perfectly. She blinked a few times, then averted her gaze with a smile. “When you get dressed, come help me with the groceries.” She said plainly.

Rose realized soon enough why her mother had done a double take, and blushed an extremely deep shade of red. Without a word she scrambled upstairs to get dressed, mortified her mother had seen her naked body all the way down the side.
