Morinth part 2 part 2

*I accidentally posted it prematurely so this is part 2 of part 2.*

Morinth, sensing a opportunity, began speaking.

“I can help you! I’m just as strong as this whore, and twice as smart!”

Ashley, who had been standing with her shotgun raised at Morinth, fired a round just above her shoulder, causing her to flinch.

Samara quickly took advantage of the situation, gaining the upper hand and slamming Morinth with a torrent of energy, causing her to collapse on the ground.

“What are you going to do now? Kill me to fulfill your ‘Justicar Code?!’.”

She said the last part mockingly, and Samara clenched her fists. I laid a hand on her shoulder, causing her to calm down.

“Maybe a few days ago, but master has shown me the true purpose of the justicar code.”

Morinth gave her a confused stare until Samara showed her the writing. The confusion cleared and she looked up at me fearfully.

I grabbed the pen from my pocket, and advanced on her, Samara and Ashley took the hint, holding her arms down and leaving her forearm free to write on.

**sorry about the lack of recent chapters, I went to the hospital due to some issues.**

**update! Due to some mental health issues and college starting I haven’t been able to write. Sorry, but until I can get my life back under control I’m not going to be posting.
