More shame

When Rosie was far enough away, Ellie let go of May.

To save her shoes, and maybe her day, May ran after Rosie. At least the way Rosie was running.

When May was also far enough away, she heard Ellie yell, "May, MAY, aren't you forgetting something?"

May stopped and turned to see Ellie waving at her with something that resembled her skirt. Startled, May looked down. But she couldn't see anything more than her stretched underpants and her socks. There she stood, in the middle of the hall, half-naked from the waist down except for underpants and socks.
