Monkeys

"I ... I want monkeys!" you stammer with nearly unrepressable excitement.

"Monkeys?" the genie says rhetorically. "Very well then, my tiny master! It shall be
done!" the genie claps his hand with the sound of booming thunder and all goes
quiet.

You look around the room, seeing nothing but the bare stone wall. The same room
when you first entered. Moments pass and still nothing. You sigh and make your
way out into the hallway.

...

As you begin re-exploring the building you hear the unmistakable noise of ...
monkeys. Everywhere you look, it appears everyone in the building has been turned
into a monkey. You laugh at your fortune and pet a monkey on the head before
shooing them away.

Leaving the building and back for your car to enter another female dorm, you are
shocked to see the campus grounds crowded with monkeys in all manner of
uniforms. One monkey appears to have the same uniform as the gate guard did ...

You panic and race for your car, and begin driving back to the city.

As you enter the city, your worst fears have come true. Your wish has transformed
everyone in the city into a monkey. Perhaps even, everyone in the world. Before
you can languish in despair at your folly, you are accosted by a crowd of
angry monkeys. They beat you mercilessly as they demand bananas. Of course,
you don't have any nor can you understand them.

Your last sight are monkeys, as they overrun your vision and monkey-talk angrily.

... Monkeys, really now. What were you thinking?
