Momentary delayed as you get "pulled over"

As I walked back to homeroom, I pulled out the first bottle of spring water and attempted to drink as much of it as I could while walking. Homeroom had already begun, so the halls were mostly empty. They were probably taking attendance as I drank.

I was about half way to my class in Western Wing, and about a third of the way through my bottle, when I heard a voice.

"Excuse me!"

I turned around to see who was addressing me. It was one of the school rent-a-cops. Not one of the old men, but some new young female officer, like all the department's other recent hires. In light of the epidemic, it suddenly made sense.

"Where are your clothes? Why are you wandering the halls naked? Explain yourself!"

I couldn't seem to get the words out of my mouth. She gave me an incredibly hostile look, and began determinedly marching in my direction. I dropped my bag, and began to dig around for the explanatory note Mrs. Olivia had given me.

"Sir!"

A furious look crossed her face, and for one moment, I caught a look at her name badge. Officer Judy Patterson. Then suddenly, out of pure rage, she did something I never would have expected. She reached out and spanked me.

"Ow!"
