From its observations, the shadow could determine that of the human's companions, the sword-wielding one and the one whose presence could be felt from a distance possessed unique analytical abilities. While its coercions could remain hidden to human eyes, those abilities might be able to detect its mental manipulations, undermining its efforts and exposing the entire scheme. Thus, it had decided that it would be these two humans who would become the unwitting Minako's primary targets. But which one would be first?
