Mission details

He offered me coffee which I accepted. "I'm guessing Kate has briefed you about the mission and it's peculiar circumstances?" James enquired. "Yeah, she walked me over the details." I shrugged as I responded.

"And you're okay with it?"

"Yes, I weighed the pros and cons and finially decided that I was up for it." I maintained. "That's good, we reveiwed about a dozen candidates for the mission and you were the one of the few ones that fit the bill perfectly. I'm looking forward to working with you." he said.

I smiled. "Likewise. Now, is there anything more I need to know about this Oscar fella?" I asked.

James reached into the filing cabinet by his side and pulled out a dossier named 'Oscar M. Batista', and handed it over to me. It was about an inch thick with small print and a few photographs, it had been prepared by some ex-FBI agents in a private intelligence outfit in Bethesda.

I glanced over it, James continued, "This file has everything you ever want to know about Oscar, his childhood, education, hobbies, past relationships, his extra-curricular activities." he said. "I want you to hold on to it and study it in detail for the next few days."

"Yessir," I responded. "Good. We have reason to believe that he's planning something big, he's bought three new sailboat dealerships around the Florida Bay Area within the last month. We want to keep the investigation discreet, after a lot of back and forth we finally decided on planting someone close to him to extract vital information. That's where you come in." he explained.

"What will your role be in this?" I asked.

"I can't be seen with you at the resort, it's too risky." He continued, "I've been working this case for the last two years and have had several run-ins with Oscar's goons. I will move to Florida with you, but you're going to the resort alone. I'll rent an apartment and investigate things outside by the marina and the dealerships. You will however be in constant contact with me through your laptop, through which you will recieve regular mission updates."

That made me a little dissapointed, I was really looking forward to seeing this hunk naked.
