Misato takes Shinji away from the battle.

Shinji runs into the car driven by the woman Misato who rapidly begins shifting the gears of the car. The sounds of rubble begin rattling off the roof and small dents begin to form. The car begins to peel backwards when a detonating ordinance floods a blinding white light over the area. Shinji covers his eyes as Misato speeds the reverse up, neither of them seeing the colossal foot no more than a few yards away that almost crushed the car like a tin can under a tire.

Misato does a spinning u turn and peels out of the town. Dodging rubble in the streets and weaving her way up a mountain road. Shinji is hyper ventilating and breathing hard so it feels as though time is going faster. Before he even realized it him and Misato were over the mountain and the creature was now separated from them. Yet Shinji even as his breath calmed and the adrenaline eased could still make out its shoulders poking out from the other side of the mountain crest. It was then that Misato hit the brakes and stopped the car, reaching over Shinji she opens the glove compartment and fishes out some binoculars paying him no heed. She then rolls down his window and sticks herself halfway out of the car to get a view of the creature with her own eyes. yet Shinji can only think about her chest was pressing against his head and how soft it felt, his hands moving to his lap to hold a growing erection down.

Shinji couldn't help but think "she smells so nice" before Misato screams "Oh no, they are going to use an N2 mine get down." She pulls herself into the car in one quick motion grabbing Shinji and pulling him down under the open window covering him with her body. Shinji couldn't breath as he was pinned by Misato, then instantly the world rattled, he closed his eyes and yet the world still was bleached with light. He could feel the parked car slide against the road and the moment it began tilting over. Misato screamed and so did he as they wrapped together the car begin rolling over and shaking.

As the car settled on its side Misato separated from Shinji and he took a deep breath feeling the dust in the air. Him and Misato pulled themselves up through the open window to see a pillar of flame coming over the mountains.

Misato pulls herself from the car and then lifts Shinji out behind her helping him out to the ground. he leans over spitting out some of the dust that is finding its way to his mouth. Misato puts a warm hand on his check and asks "Are you alright." He spits on the ground again and says "My mouth is full of dirt." Misato slowly pulls her hand back and says "You will be alright, cmon." She then presses her back against the car laying on its side signaling she wants Shinji to help her.

Shinji presses his back against the car same as Misato and tries to help her right the car, yet all he can think is he is to weak to frail. He can tell Misato is doing all the work and he repeats words like pathetic and useless in his head, he was a man now and yet he could barely muster half the strength from his weak childish limbs as Misato. "Push" Misato shouts and Shinji feels the weight leaving his back as with a groan the car begins tilting back on its own and rights itself.

Misato dusts off her hands and thanks Shinji for helping her, even though deep down inside he feels like he barely even helped. He should thank her he thinks and he manages to say "Thank's Mrs Katsuragi." Misato pulls off her glasses and says "Misato is just fine." Shinji gives a out of breath yeah realizing he had been calling her Misato in his head already this whole time, he didn't even realize that he had been thinking about her in such a friendly way before even meeting her.
