Miranda chooses Sophia, Scarlett chooses...both?!

Miranda took Sophia by the hand and led her to her new room. Scarlett, meanwhile...

"Wait," Scarlett said. "Can't I be both?"

"What do you mean?" John asked.

"Well, why don't you make me both your daughter and a doll?" Scarlett asked. "Please. It would be really hard for me to pretend to be your daughter for that long, so making me a doll would be your best option."

"I understand," John said. "But I'll only put one earring on, just to see what happens."

He put the earring on Scarlett's left ear.
