Minx-lan

Minx-lan (1998) tells the story of Minx-lan, a young Chinese woman who defies societal expectations to protect her family and country. When the Emperor issues a decree requiring one man from each family to join the army against invading Huns, Minx-lan disguises herself as a man and takes her ailing father’s place. Determined, resourceful, and courageous, she trains alongside other soldiers under the strict guidance of Captain Long Wang, gradually proving her skill and leadership.
