"Wait, that doesn't make any sense! I thought all the Shadows are under Nyx's control?" Minako protested.
"Not at all. The Shadows you and your friends have faced belong to my mistress, yes, but they are not all the Shadows in the world. There are as many different groups of Shadows and their rulers in the world as there are different groups of people. Well, that may be an overstatement, but the point stands." Pharos explained. "Temptation, whatever it works for, is such a Shadow. Its home realm is not the Dark Hour, and as such, much of its true nature and agenda is beyond my knowing."
Minako didn't like what she was hearing at all. Other groups of Shadows? Other creatures like Nyx, places like the Dark Hour? How was SEES supposed to protect humanity from Shadows if they didn't even know all the places Shadows were or what their goals were?
Pharos, as if sensing her worry, smiled down on Minako. "Do not worry. You and your friends are not the only humans with the gift of Personas. More will yet come, stepping forward to confront Shadows in other realms. Not everything needs to fall at your feet."
"That's great and all..." Minako began as she processed the information. "But that's actually kind of worse. We need to deal with Temptation. NOW. We can't just wait for whoever can fight the Shadows where he comes from to step up and do their job! Who knows how long we might have to wait?!"
"I would assume seven years or so. Give or take." Pharos said after a short pause.
"WHAT?!" Minako shrieked. "Seven years?! NO! I am not going to wait se- wait... how do you know that?"
"It's just an assumption. Following trends of the awakenings of Persona capable individuals. I see many things in my role as Appriser."
"...Right. I-is there any way we could... I don't know... speed up that process?" Minako begged. She couldn't live like this for that long!
