Mike goes to check, and he sees...

Mike arrived at the school’s parking lot, where he almost immediately spotted Jason’s white van.

The white van was immobile. That was a good sign, supposedly. He’d heard that when Jason brought a girl to his van for sex, the van would be shaking incessantly and violently from the force of Jason’s thrusts.

Mike had his doubts as to whether that was true though. He’d thought that it would take a lot of strength and stamina to rock the van like that. There’s no way even Jason was so strong, right? Thus, the white van not moving did nothing to assuage his fears.

He stared at it from a distance, taking cover to prevent anyone from seeing him. The last thing he wanted was for someone to spot him and ask what he was doing, or for Jade or Jason to spot him from the van.

He looked down at his watch. Judging from the time it took to walk here, it should have been about... 2,3 minutes since Jade entered the van. If Jade took a long time just to ‘collect something for the project’, then that would be a lie and the two of them were actually—

Jade came out of the van.

Mike started in surprise, and shrank back further into cover (as it was, he was hiding behind another person’s car).

He snuck glances at his girlfriend. She looked...normal. She wasn’t panting. Her hair was not disheveled, her face wasn’t red, she was walking normally... Mike breathed a sigh of relief.

His suspicions were unfounded, it seemed. He felt regret for suspecting Jade of any funny business, and even had a twinge of guilt towards Jason. Perhaps he’d really changed after all, Mike thought.

Not that those feelings could stem his relief. He waited for Jade to leave the car park before he left as well, now with lighter footsteps.
