Middleton Cheerleaders

The actual number of cheerleaders isn't clear. Two were named in advance promotions for the show who didn't appear (although one of them appeared under a different name) and in different episodes a few other cheerleaders appear. Seven cheerleaders, in addition to Kim, appeared regularly and had names.

Real life high school cheerleaders are usually very nice young ladies. The stereotype of cheerleaders as promiscuous sluts probably originates in nerd fantasies. Fortunately fanfiction is also the realm of nerd fantasies, which means these cheerleaders will hop into bed, the backseat of a car, or bend over a desk for just about anyone... No, not really promiscuous... I mean, if they need to keep grade points up to stay on the team, or reward a team for a victory, or comfort a team after a loss that's just their job description, right?
