AUTHOR'S NOTE 1: This chapter requires explaining some things I've only hinted at everywhere else. This imagined, all-female universe is more religious than the real-world generally but with it's own assortment of faiths. Exactly what those are hasn't been sorted out, especially for the middle-east.

Afghanistan - Jewellery

Afghanistan, rich in all manner of metal and gems is the envy of the worlds' mining industry. However by way of ancient tradition this wealth is first put toward the nation's insatiable lust for jewellery. In public this is kept to pieces worn over their clothing but privately everyone has a collection of pieces to excite lovers while otherwise nude. To be clear, these contest are technically illegal but even the police are unable to help but try to prove that they are the best dancers in the land so nobody is ever prosecuted.
