Metroid

The Ultimatum blinds you with a bright flash. You suddenly feel yourself waking up from what feels like the most uncomfortable sleep you've ever had. Jolting upright, you feel your head being torn apart with a searing headache. With some effort you open your eyes to take in your surroundings. You're on a floor in what used to be a small building, perhaps some sort of industrial complex. The place has been demolished with rubble sealing in all exits.

A small electric lamp lies in front of you on the floor, lighting the small area you've been trapped in. Across from that lamp is Samus Aran, sporting her iconic Zero Suit. She seemed to be tinkering with what looks like a pistol. She suddenly looks up at you with her jaw dropped.

"You're awake! I thought'd you be out for a while. You took a solid hit on the back of your head from some wooden crates when the catwalks above us fell apart." She said, still in awe that you're awake. How did you get here? You didn't want to complicate things by attempting to explain the Ultimatum.

"What the hell happened?" You groan, rubbing your head. Samus' face of shock and worry slowly fade into a small smile.
