Meetings of the Minds

Emma Frost, CEO of Frost International and Omega-level telepath the White Queen, walked into the office of Susan Storm-Richards. The heroine the Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four, in this case, she was the head officer of the business aspect of the team. Which made sense given the number of inventions which her husband Reed created.

Wearing a spotless white skirted business suit, she entered to meet her fellow blond wearing a similar suit. But where hers was cloth, her counterpart was wearing blue latex. Which cause one of the mutant's perfect eyebrows to raise, wondering what Sue was thinking. Emma was not opposed to having something similar made, especially as the business woman could tell Sue was wearing a Van Dyne original, this was not something she expected of Sue.

The fact was not helped by the fact that Emma couldn't pick up even the surface thoughts of the other woman, which she could do with most people without some kind of psionic-blocking ability. Emma spoke up, "So Sue, you have invited me for a business oportunity? Something you seemed to have talked Janet Van Dyne and Pepper Potts into?"

"A new fashion line, using material developed and discarded by my husband. An environmentally safe latex/leather like material which also allows for breathing of the body. Pepper is helping with the financing, Janet with the designs, and even Mary-jane Watson-Parker is modeling it. I was hoping to have you on board for licensing, as well as sharing the profits with your investment." answered the other woman, smiling as she tried to talk Emma around.

"It might have helped if you didn't set this meeting up with a psionic blocking device. I understand the reasoning, with my power providing an advantage, but it would have help if you told me ahead of time." was the woman in white's answer.

"I know. The psionic device that Reed invented is quite effective. Which is why SHIELD used them when dealing with the last attack Magento made, just in case he had a psionic on his side. Like the original Mastermind... or his daughters." said the married woman, as the single lady realized where the law enforcement agency had gotten tech which could threaten the interests of mutants and herself. But Sue continued,

"Of course, as an investor I would be willing to share the device with you. To protect you from potential business spies, of course. All I ask is some help with things. Like using your electronics and transportation companies to help us. Or help to organize fashion shows to show off our wears to the rich and famous.. Here, let me show you a presentation."

Sue offered Emma as sit, as she moved to pull down a screen and activate a projector as the lights died down and the shade were drawn. Looking at the white void, she then noticed some trippy colours showing on the screen. But she couldn't even speak up to Sue before Emma's mind was lost into the Claws of the Goddess....
