Chapter 4 by Symphony Symphony

"I liked that hat..."

Meeting the suspect.

Arthur searched around his pockets, beginning to panic. He scratched his Auburn hair and tried the last pocket. He drew a note out of the last pocket and sighed in relief. Thank God he didn't lose it. The note had the address of the relative Jefferson mentioned. Arthur signalled a cab and showed the note to the driver through the rolled down window. "Could you take me there?" The driver wrinkled his nose, but let Arthur in. "Got friends in high places, eh?" The driver eventually said, almost twenty minutes after.

"..."

When they arrived, Arthur got out of the car and before him stood a mansion. He was unsure whether to be surprised or not. It does seem to make sense the relative of a high ranked Nazi general would live in a mansion. This mansion looks like one of those mansions which were "borrowed" from wealthy Jewish families by Nazis or their families, or just plain wealthy supporters of the Nazism. Arthur made his way to the door and knocked, placing the note back in the pocket of his trench coat. The door was opened by a man, which appeared to be no more than 5 years older than himself. He couldn't help but admit that the blonde, well kept man was good looking. He was wearing a shirt that exposed a bit of his slim yet toned chest. "Who're you? I don't remember inviting you here." Arthur stared at him for a short moment before clearing his throat and quickly tucking the note out of his pocket, looking at the back of it for reminder. "Are you, uh.. Sanne.. Hayes?.." He had such a hard time pronouncing all these foreign names.

He didn't know two important details about this name.

The man's lips curved into a smirk. "That's me."

"Please come in."
