Meeting the Father?
Meeting the Father
"It seems to, me that you are not very happy with this assignment," Janet said as they rode the elevator down to the basement garage. "You obviously don't get along with your family."
"No, we haven't gotten along in years," Tom said not looking at his partner. "They wanted me to go into the family business and I said that I had no desire to join them, I guess I just wanted to stand on my own."
"You don't have to accept the assignment you know."
"Actually I do," Tom said as he turned to look at Janet. "This is going to be my last case, I'm tired of all the bullshit."
As the pair headed for their car Janet asked if Tom had his communicator with him, he said that it was right where he always kept it; in his breast pocket.
