Meet Your Handler

You sashay inside and a quickly ushered away by some attendants to a backstage area. There you are shown to a door with a gold star on it. They are quite attentive making sure you have everything that you need.

As they fawn over you, a handsome man in a navy business suit walks in, “That’ll be all everyone.”

With that the attendants leave the room, closing the door behind them.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t able to greet you at the door,” he says, “My name is Chris and I’ll be your handler for the pageants.”

“Nice to meet you, Chris,” you say as you twirl your hair between your fingers.

“The shop said you’d be ready for today’s festivities,” Chris says eyeing you up and down.

“I’m ready to win,” you say slyly, biting your lip, “No matter the cost.”
