While Spike and Max were sneaking into the museum, a man named Stoller was meeting with Lydecker and an agent of Wolfram & Hart.

"Mr. Stoller, I assume you know why we are here?" Lydecker asked.

"But of course." Stoller replied. "You are looking for your escaped freak, Lydecker."

"Well, since you know the gist, what have you found?"

"Your pal Max is indeed in town, and helping some chap named Angel."

The lawyer smiled. "My employer will be glad to hear that."
