Jane had just entered the back hall after her fifth naked run around the castle when she spied a pair of white pantaloons lying on the floor. She hastily looked around but she could see no one else around. So that meant...
Jane hastily reached out for the pantaloons, only to hear someone run up behind her and grab her from behind.
"Not so fast, Jane," said Barbara. "That was a little test to see if we could trust you with clothing yet and surprise, surprise, you flunked. I know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I would have thought that you'd catch on by now."
"Please let me go," said Jane. "I'll be good. I promise. Haven't I put up with my nakedness all this week?"
"Actually, as I recall, " said Barbara, "you've made quite a fuss about it. In fact, you've complained about it every day. But that's okay. We forgive you. Don't we, Winona?"
Winona appeared in the hall in front of Jane and smiled. "Of course, Barbara. Shall I then dispose of these pantaloons in the usual manner?"
"Why not?" asked Barbara. "It would be pretty hard for Jane to sneak away and put them on if they were ashes, right?"
The two women laughed while Jane stood there and blushed.
Well, I'm already naked and I have been for a whole week, thought Jane. Surely it can't get any worst for me before Mina gets here.
Then Sarah entered the hall with a black leather collar in her hand. "Look what I found," she said. "Jane has been saying all week that she wants to wear something. Now she can."
"That's it?" asked Jane. "A leather collar? That's the only thing you're going to give me to wear?"
"Of course not, silly," said Sarah. "After all, there is a little silver bell that goes with it."
