“I know, Ben,” she says, almost calmly, as she saunters into the front room. She looks at the closed curtains, then turns her head to look at me. “You know why I’m here.” I hear the faintest hint of a quaver in her voice. I wonder why?

“It’s still hard for me to believe,” I tell her frankly.

“Well, believe it,” Meaghan replies with equal frankness. “But—Ben, I have a question.”

I raise an eyebrow. “What is it, Meaghan?”

“You’ve seen Scarlett’s tits, and Abby’s and Bailey’s and Kira’s,” she says.
