My eyes opened. I saw her lying next to me. Mami was beautiful with those full lips. I eased closer to her and kissed them. A smile emerged on her face. Her eyes fluttered open, “Um,” she said, “it’s almost time to get ready.”

“I wish I could lay here with you,” I replied as I kissed her shoulder and rubbed her tummy.

“I’m going to take a shower.” She sat up and looked at her cell phone. I watched as she looked at something that made her cringe. She rolled her eyes.

“What’s wrong?”

“I have to make a quick phone call,” she said and went into the bathroom. I sat up. I could hear her voice. She said something, “I’m on an island fucking a bunch of people I just met.”

I almost lost it. I held in my laugh. The bathroom door opened and she stood naked, “Sorry about that.”

“It’s fine. Are you okay though?,” I asked as I stood and walked over to her.

“Yeah. It’s just one of my friends trying to play Ms. Fix-It.”

I laughed, “She sounds like she cares about you and this guy.”

“She does. I just told her that I’m good for right now.”

“Did she believe you when you told her about fucking a bunch of people you just met?”

She chuckled, “No. She laughed hysterically.”

I watched as she started the water in the shower. She stepped inside and after I drained my pipe, I stepped into the shower with her. Chocolate was my weakness and she was serving a healthy dose of it. I knew I could have saved my energy for later but we were there and I was stiff all over again.

“Me, I love action. Car wrecks, explosions, blood, yeah!”

We laughed.

“I’m into science fiction,” I said.

We continued down the path toward the house. When we arrived, everyone was there. The food was set out and everyone was grabbing their favorite items. Naomi walked over to Chelsea and took her away, “This beauty is sitting next to me.”

They grabbed some food and sat on the recliner sofa which had cup holders. It was a nice setup. I loved being on the island with my friends. I grabbed some food and sat next to Naomi.

Before the movie started, Naomi stood up and said, “Since you’re the new kid on the block, let me explain movie night,” she said to Chelsea.

She listened attentively.

“So, we watch a movie for a few hours. Then we tidy up and afterward, I usually give the guys one heck of a night.”

“All of them?”

“Yeah,” Naomi replied nonchalantly.

“Wow.”

“Since I have you, my friend, you can take three of these guys off of my hands.”

At first, she sat silently. Then she smiled, “Three guys. I don’t know.” She looked at all the men sitting around, “I’ve never—”

“Don’t be scared. It’s a piece of cake," Naomi reassured her.

She blushed, “Um okay. I can try.”

“Cool. You can take Charles, Justin, and Asif, and I'll take Andre, Christian, and Stefano.”

Part of me wanted to go with her again but I did have my chance twice already and I was sure I’d get to partake in her energy again before either of us left the island.

We sat as the movie started. Everyone had their food and drinks. We watched Bruised with Halle Berry.
