Maybe the cashier will be understanding…

Emily hasn’t had much luck with well, anything in the past who knows how long, but maybe the nice lady in charge of the cash register at the store will help her out. Clutching the jacket tight across her body, Emily walks over to the woman, glancing at her name tag which says her name is Bai, and she’s from Taiwan. Any other day she would he interested in seeing and hearing from so many people from different cultures. Today, however, Emily can only see everyone else, happily wearing clothes, and herself, who hopefully is about to join their ranks.

Walking up slowly, Emily gives a polite smile. The Taiwanese woman looks at the scantily clad girl with a stance look, and notices the tag hanging off the jacket. “You want to buy that? I can’t ring it up if you are wearing it…”

Emily laughs nervously. “Y-yeah about that…s-so I don’t have any money…or a room key…or any clothes at all. Would you maybe, hopefully, let me take this jacket with me? Or maybe just borrow it?”

The woman frowns. “There are paying customers behind you. I’m not about to give you this jacket for free.”

Emily raises her voice. “B-but I don’t have any clothes!”

That draws the gazes of several people around, who were not yet aware of Emily’s predicament. Emily turns and notices a man crouching down, taking a picture of her mostly bare ass sticking out from under the jacket. The cashier shakes her head. “Whatever weird games you are playing, take it somewhere else. I don’t have time for it.”

Emily’s heart sinks. She glances at the doorway leading out of the shop, and for a moment thinks about sprinting out, but a large male employee happens to be standing right there. No chance shed make it past him.

Whimpering, Emily pulls off the jacket, once again exposing herself to the world. More photos are taken, and murmurs are heard all around. She puts the jacket where it goes, and, covering herself with her hands again, walks out of the shop.

This isn’t going well at all. Shes running out of ideas of where to get clothes. This trip was supposed to be a time to relax, but it’s been nothing but endless stress…
