What do they want to do?
Maureen suggests humanitarian work
"You know girls," says Maureen, "we could try making a real difference. There are plenty of people out there who really need help, and we're better able to give it than most."
"So, what Mo," you answer, "you're thinking of a missionary position?"
There's a chorus of mock jeers at your pun, which means it was a success. Maureen continues.
"Think about it; we could do all kinds of stuff to make life better for poor people. We could be like Mother Teresa or Princess Diana."
Olivia says, "You realize that the vast majority of humanitarians do stuff nobody's ever heard of. We'd disappear into the woodwork."
"Not with our abilities we won't; we'd be heroes!"
Jess looks up from taking notes on her phone, "You know, the fact that you call them poor people implies that you're not really in for the altruism. We'd be better off doing that stuff in the West if the goal is to be famous, though rampant poverty does provide the generosity factor. I'll make a note of it."

Trans-Human
The Next Step in Evolution
In 1594 a single cosmic ray photon struck a single molecule of DNA in an oocyte of an unknown woman somewhere in Europe and caused a tiny mutation. That oocyte was fertilized; the resulting boy grew into a man, and that man became a successful mercenary. As he travelled the world he made the acquaintance of many women and left a substantial genetic legacy. Twenty generations later his descendants started to mate with each other, signalling the end of the domination of Earth by homo sapiens. It started small, with a girl named Ariana and her friends.
