Masterly Manipulation

Abruptly, all hands withdrew from a bewildered Alice, who timidly looked around in the dark while she pulled the straps of her bra back up. She had lost track of time and was flushed totally red with embarrassment at what had just happened. How much time had passed? She wondered to herself about that when she realized that Chloe was wrapping up her report. The lights were about to come back on! She looked around frantically in the dark for her clothes when she suddenly had to squint at the new brightness. There were a few quiet gasps of surprise from the other students at the sudden reveal of Alice's pale legs.

Rachel had already strode forward and was whispering with Mrs. Sylvia, who was simply talking with her and nodding. Alice hadn't noticed though, because she was busy looking for her pants that had been removed. I didn't see them go out the window. She thought to herself. Although I couldn't see much of anything that would have made a silhouette right? The bell rang, splitting her thoughts.

"What an excellent idea Rachel." Mrs. Sylvia exclaimed. "Alice!" Mrs. Sylvia projected across the room in her stern authoritative tone. "Y-yes Mrs. Sylvia?" Alice said timidly, terrified that her pants-less state had been discovered. "Rachel here has told me that your little interruption was you exclaiming that you still felt nervous, even after presenting. That is simply meek behavior you're going to have to get over if you're going to succeed in speech-giving. To that end, I am writing you a note. You will be exempted from the dress-code today to help with your confidence. Rachel and Devon have volunteered to escort you to your next class, since you share it. I believe it is art class or do you have lunch, I forget? Anyways, they'll make sure you aren't bothered in the hall, won't you Rachel." "yes Ma'am, of course! Anything to help Alice." Alice gulped and nodded as she saw Rachel take a note from Mrs. Sylvia and, as soon as her back was to her, give a wide predatory grin in Alice's direction. "Anything" she said with a slight change in tone. "Hmmm" Mrs. Sylvia barely acknowledged. At this point, she had stopped paying attention. Alice begrudgingly took this opportunity to grab her bag and head out into the hall. Rachel and Devon followed with her as far as them passing around the corner as Mrs. Sylvia exited the classroom and headed the other way.

Rachel peered around the corner before whispering "now" And Devon quietly shoved Alice, putting her off balance. She recovered, but was now backed up against the lockers. They had left the room late, and it was already emptying out in the hallway. "Look nerd, this note means you're able to go to class wearing whatever you want, the dress code doesn't apply to you..." Rachel grinned. "Of course, that means you won't get in trouble for being underdressed... beyond what you are already." Alice's eyes widened as she suddenly realized the implication. "W-wait!" She stuttered out as they took a step towards her.
