Master Sword Ceremony

Link stood knelled on the stone decor as the champions of the Devine Beasts watched as Zelda came with the Master Sword in a sheath and royal cloth….

Zelda cleared her throat as she spoke….

“Hero of Hyrule, chosen by the sword that seals the darkness…”

“You have shown unflinching bravery and skill in the face of darkness and adversity…”

“As well as proven yourself worthy of the blessing of the Goddess Hylia, whether skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of Twilight!”

“The Sacred Blade is now…. Yours to wield and forever bound to the soul of the hero….”

“We pray for your protection and that…. The two of you will grow stronger together….”

The speech continued as the champions talked among themselves….

“Geez…. This is uplifting, she’s making it sound like we’ve already lost!” Said Daruk….

“Ugh… wasn’t this your idea, you said that you wanted to designate the appointed knight with all this ceremonial grandeur….” Said Revali

“This all seems so overkill if you ask me, I find myself on the same page with the princess on this boy” Said Revali as Arbosa stepped in the conversation…

“Oh… give it a rest….That boy is a living reminder of her own shortcomings, … well at least that’s how the princess sees it…” said Arbosa as Zelda looked at Link as….
