Marle

Crono motioned for Marle to go out, and he took her place in the small chamber. Gaspar gazed as she walked toward him. He wasn't a pervert, but it HAD been ages since he'd seen a woman, and Marle was about the prettiest he'd seen. He couldn't help but stare, though he soon stopped.

Marle: Hi!

Gaspar: Hello.

Marle: So, did you need to ask me something?

Gaspar: Yes. There is going to come a time very soon in which one of your friends will die.

Marle: Everybody dies.

Gaspar: I meant soon by your standards. You see, Guardia is a few years from a vicious attack by a powerful **** from the El Nido islands.

Marle: El Nido!? But we're at peace with them. Besides, they're mainly fishing villages and uninhabited islands. What do they want with us?

Gaspar: It isn't El Nido itself that will attack, but an agent of a place that does not yet exist, known as Chronopolis, that will. Guardia will fall by this..being's hand. Not only that, but he will bear the Masamune. He will use it to slay your family and your friends. Your friend Lucca will at that time be taking care of some children. One very special one in particular, has caught my eye as being incredibly significant. When Lucca dies, this child will become a vagrant with nothing in her heart but love for Lucca, and hatred for her killer. You might even call her Lucca's little sister.

Gaspar gave this information time to soak in. It hadn't even begun to when he continued.

Gaspar: Now, on to the point. This child, upon reaching her 12th birthday will kill you, should you decide to take her in and raise her. Her reasons are her own, but she will do it. It will be a painless ****, don't worry. If you refuse her, you will live a short but generally pleasant life, all things considered. But, she will die on the streets. If this happens, all of time will be destroyed. Not to mention, Lucca would be so unhappy to see her little sister wither away and die from the depths of the afterlife. Which leads me to the question: When Lucca's 'sister' comes to you, will you raise her at the cost of your life but to the salvation of time? Or will you save your life and turn your back on her?
