Maria

Maria was nineteen and grew up in an orphanage when she was less than eight months old. When she was ten years old she met Father Collin and it was he who chose her to be trained as a hunter. From that point on her life consisted of learning and combat training, she became the sword of the church, she knew nothing else than that. It had been less than a week when Father Collin came to her and said that she had learned everything the church could have taught her and that she needed practical experience and here she was in a shabby car next to her new mentor, watching a shabby bar.

She still wasn't happy with Father Collins' selection. The man who was now at her side and was supposed to continue training her was completely the opposite of what she was used to. He wasn't a man or a churchman or particularly righteous, he drank quite a bit and was constantly calling her the problem by her name. Father Colin said he was one of the best at what they did. He doesn't talk much and when he did it was usually instructions or cursing. John had an athletic figure and was about six feet tall. His hair was cropped short in the style of the US Army, the sides were slowly turning gray. He preferred a nine mm when hunting, which he could adapt to the prey with various attachments.

The bar you were watching was in one of the seedy areas of the city and was known for the underworld going in and out of there. Standing in front of the door was a bouncer about two meters tall, built like a single muscle. They had been watching the store for a while now and John seemed to be waiting for something. After a while a woman came down the street and went into the bar and John opened the car door. He got out and said a little louder: “Come on, problem, time to get to work!” Maria rolled her eyes in annoyance and followed John. When they reached the door of the bar John went in and she followed as she passed the bouncer he slapped Maria right on the bottom. Without a warning, she turned around and lashed out, hitting the huge mountain of flesh directly in the face, causing him to stagger backwards a bit. Visibly annoyed, he swung out and wanted to hit Maria, but he couldn't because she reacted faster than him and grabbed his arm, twisted it slightly and used his momentum to throw him head first into the door. He crashed loudly through the door and was left **** inside the bar with a bloody nose.

John turned around and looked towards the door and saw three guys rushing towards Maria, but instead of helping her he moved towards the counter. Maria, who was smaller than her three attackers, didn't take long to take them out, breaking several tables and chairs. The last of the guys flew in a high arc over the counter with a shoulder throw and remained **** behind it. John didn't seem amused by the whole thing as he poured a drink down his throat and said, "That door should lead to the back, come on!"

John led the way and Mary followed. As soon as they were through the door, Maria noticed how the ground beneath her feet gave way and she fell. She looked to shift her weight and landed on her feet. John wasn't so lucky and ended up on his back, which he commented on with a curse. She looked around and realized in the dim light that she was in a tunnel, the walls were slippery and climbing up was out of the question. After consulting with John they decided to follow the corridor, after a while they saw light at the end of the corridor and slowly crept towards the exit. John decided that he should explore the situation so Maria stood against the wall and kept looking around so that they couldn't be surprised. She watched as John slowly pushed his way out of the tunnel to scout into the room beyond when she heard a click and turned her head to look. She looked directly into two glowing red eyes and couldn't move, her mind seemed to be foggy and she felt how excited she was and she heard a voice in her head: "Surrender, you're home." Then her vision started to get dark .
