Mannequin

Turning men and women into mannequin versions of themselves has been happening since before mannequins existed. Medusa? Proto-Mannequin fetish.

The main goal with this transformation seems to be turning a person into a possible doll. The idea of making someone powerless to your own desires.

Typically this transformation is caused by magic, but can be caused by a chemical as well. In some fiction the people are locked in a form of stasis where they can’t talk but can feel everything. Typically whoever turns someone into a mannequin is a store owner who needs an extra dummy for the display window.

This concept has been explored in the TV show Get Smart and in the film Mannequin(and sequels).
