Making a new Alice

Batman saw a woman tied to a chair, dressed up, with a large screen in front of her glazed eyes. She was obviously being hypnotized into being Jervis’ new Alice. Batman ran over to her, and began to undo her ropes. When she was free, however, she pulled a gun out of her pocket and shot Batman with it, unleashing a large amount of sleeping gas. Batman fell **** immediately.

When Batman came too, he noticed that _he _was in a chair, with a screen in front of him. “What’s the meaning of this?” Batman snarled, and Mad Hatter’s image appeared.

“My dear Batman, I’ve fought you for so long, and I’ve tried so hard to make you either go away or become my servant. Sadly, neither seems to work. So, I hav a new plan! You are going to be my new Alice, Batman! It’ll be splendid! I’ll make you up pretty as a doll, and after a while and certain treatments and surgeries, you’ll be perfect!”

“You sick freak!” Batman yelled out, and Hatter’s smiling face faded away from the screen... and a hypnotic spiral appeared. Instantly Batman fought, but he soon became entranced.

This first (of many) three hour round of hypnosis served the purpose of having Batman lie to his team, saying that he was going undercover for a while. It then made him take off his mask, and drink whatever Mad Hatter gave him. Jervis didn’t care about who was underneath the mask. They’d be Alice soon enough.
