Making Harley Quinn into Alice

Batman turned, and saw Harley Quinn with a large device on her head. The beautiful blonde doctor’s face had a blank expression, and little drool was coming from her mouth. Batman stared in horror. Quinzel had went under the radar days prior, but it had seemed like she created a new identity for herself and was living away from the chaos of Gotham. Obviously that was a lie created by Hatter.

Batman saw wires tracing from the helmet to another room, and with Detective Vision saw that it connected to a large device... and another helmet, that Mad Hatter was wearing. Entering the room, Batman looked at the device, which had a computer screen attached to it. The screen revealed Hatter’s plan.

The idea was that someone wearing the A-helmet would be able to control someone wearing the B-Helmet, through brainwave alterations transferred through the device and helmets. Removing someone from the B-Helmet was impossibly dangerous if it had already started, which it had, but someone being removed from the A-Helmet was safer... as long as someone was there to replace them, and even then it was risky. Damage could be irreversible. From the looks things, the process was already underway, and couldn’t just be shut down, so Batman knew what he had to do.

Getting the Batcuffs ready, he went up to The Mad Hatter and knocked him out, cuffing him and tying him up very securely. Batman went to the helmet and put it on, immediately feeling the energy surging through his mind and body. He hoped nothing would go wrong.
