Maintenance

On the second Wednesday of every month, shifted if their is an event such as a birthday, the windows are washed. This is an all day job and often the family will chose to got out for the day and some of the servants might take time off. However seeing as the Earl and Countess's bathroom can be viewed through the skylights below the dome, the job sometimes has its perks. A chimney sweep visits the same day and often other jobs are also scheduled for the same day.

There is a maintenance engineer who checks on the boiler, immersion heaters and generators twice a week. He might carry out repair work or call in a more specialist engineer. The dogsbody switches a lot of these on and off but has little knowledge of how they work.
