What does he wish for Sarah
Maid to Fix things
The coin cooled in Tom’s hand, but the weight of it was heavier than ever. His mind churned with memories of what Sarah had done—what she had made him do. The wishes she had **** upon him had ripped apart the man he used to be. Once, he’d loved her, trusted her, and that trust had been wielded like a weapon to destroy his dignity.
He turned back to look at her, crumpled on the floor, her once-imposing presence reduced to shivering desperation. The woman who had transformed him into her servant, her toy, her pawn. The woman who had taken his love and twisted it into a cruel game of control and humiliation.
“You know,” Tom said, his voice quieter now, but no less sharp, “when I made that first wish, I told myself it was for you. That it was what you needed to feel secure, to feel loved. Even as I moved into your garage and answered your every whim like a dog, I convinced myself it was temporary. That you’d see me again—not as your chauffeur, but as the man who loved you.”
Sarah's head jerked up, her tear-streaked face ****. “I—I never wanted—”
“Don’t,” Tom interrupted, his voice cold. “Don’t lie to me, Sarah . I remember every sneer, every order barked at me like I was nothing. And even then, I clung to hope. Until you made me wish away my own identity. Until you made me rewrite my entire existence to suit your fantasies.”
His voice cracked, the pain behind his words bubbling to the surface. “You turned me into a stranger, Sarah. A kindly old man who lived to serve you. You erased everything I was and replaced it with what you wanted—a tool, a servant, someone who doted on you without question. And you told yourself it was love.”
She sobbed harder, clutching at her chest. “I didn’t know it would hurt you like this! I thought—I thought it would make things easier for us! I thought—”
“You thought it would make things easier for you,” Tom spat. “You thought you could control me, own me, without consequence. You took my love and turned it into chains.”
He looked at the coin in his hand, its surface gleaming faintly. It had the power to do anything—to give or take, to create or destroy. For a long moment, he considered vengeance. He could strip her of everything she held dear, leave her destitute, powerless, and forgotten. He could make her suffer as he had suffered.
But even as the thought crossed his mind, a part of him recoiled. Wouldn’t that make him like her? A person who wielded power without compassion, without restraint? He wasn’t her. He wouldn’t be her.
“I should ruin you,” he said, his tone heavy with conviction. “I should use this coin to take back everything you stole from me and leave you with nothing. But I won’t. Because no matter what you’ve done, I won’t let you turn me into a monster.”
Sarah’s gaze lifted, hope flickering faintly in her tear-streaked eyes. “Tom, please—”
He silenced her with a sharp, cutting glare. “Don’t mistake my restraint for forgiveness,” he said coldly. “You don’t deserve it. And you never deserved me.”
Her sobs deepened, her voice trembling as she tried to speak. “Tom, I was just—”
“Drunk on power?” he interrupted, his tone like a dagger, sharp and unforgiving.
Tom stared down at Sarah, her tear-streaked face contorted in desperation. The coin glinted faintly in his palm, warm with the promise of possibility. He could do anything now. The thought was both exhilarating and sickening.
“You want me to let you off the hook?” he asked, his tone sharp as broken glass. “You think a few tears are enough to erase what you’ve done?”
Sarah shook her head violently, her voice trembling. “I’m begging you, Tom. Please, don’t—”
“Don’t what?” he snapped, cutting her off. “Don’t give you exactly what you deserve?” He turned the coin over in his hand, the glow catching her frantic gaze. “Let’s think this through, Sarah. Maybe I should make you my trophy wife,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery. “You’d be beautiful, pampered, adored by everyone… on the surface. But behind closed doors, you’d be nothing more than decoration, a silent companion living only for my approval.”
Her sobs grew louder, her lips trembling as she tried to protest. “Tom, no! That’s not me—I couldn’t—”
“No,” he agreed, his voice icy. “You couldn’t. Because you’d resent me. You’d wait for the first chance to twist the knife, to find some way to punish me. And I’ve learned what you do with power. I’d never trust you. Not ever.”
He shook his head, disgust flickering across his face. “Scratch that idea.”
He paced slowly, the coin spinning between his fingers. “How about this,” he said, his tone taking on a cruel edge. “We reverse the roles. I’ll be your boss—rich, successful, adored. And you? You’ll be the grateful little chauffeur, grovelling at my feet for scraps of kindness, just like you made me do.”
Sarah’s breath hitched, her hands clutching at her chest. “Tom, please—don’t do this. I’ll change, I swear! Just give me a chance!”
Tom sneered, his lip curling in distaste. “Change? You mean like how I changed when you stripped me of everything I was? You made me less than a man, Sarah. And I’m supposed to play that game with you now? To become the monster you turned me into?” He spat the words, his voice full of loathing. “No. That’s not me.”
He turned back to her, his eyes blazing. “Maybe,” he said, his voice quieter but no less intense, “I should use this coin to erase everything. Undo it all. Reset us to how we were before you ruined me.”
Her tearful expression flickered with the faintest glimmer of hope. “Yes, Tom! Please! We can fix this—we can go back—”
“No, we can’t,” he said harshly, his tone final. “Even if I wished us back to normal, I’d still know what you’re capable of. I’d still see you for who you are—a woman who destroyed me just because she could. I’d never be able to look at you without wondering when you’d betray me again.”
Sarah’s sobs grew louder, her hands trembling as they reached toward him. “I’m sorry,” she choked out. “I’ll do anything—please don’t give up on me.”
Tom’s gaze hardened, his grip on the coin tightening. “Anything? You mean, now that you’ve lost? Now that the power’s out of your hands? How convenient.” He glared at her, his voice cold. “I could strip you of everything—your money, your reputation, your success. Leave you with nothing but regret and the ruins of the life you built on my back.”
Her face paled, and she shook her head frantically. “No! Tom, that’s too much! Please—I’d be nothing—”
He stepped closer, his voice low and sharp. “Nothing, Sarah. Like I was to you.”
But as the idea lingered, Tom felt a flicker of unease. He stared down at her trembling form, remembering the pain of being utterly powerless. To reduce her to the same… no. That wasn’t him. Not entirely.
His eyes narrowed, a new thought forming. “Turnabout is fair play,” he murmured, more to himself than to her. “You wanted me to serve, to obey, to adore you while you humiliated me. Maybe it’s time you got a taste of that.”
Sarah’s sobs turned to gasps as she realized where he was going. “No, Tom—please! Don’t do this! I’ll do anything, I swear—”
“Anything except face the consequences,” he shot back, his tone scathing. “That’s the difference between us, Sarah. I gave everything for you, even when it cost me my dignity. You took everything and gave nothing in return.”
He stepped back, the coin now glowing brighter in his hand. “Here’s my wish,” he said, his voice steady, resolute. “I wish that Sarah becomes my maid. Obedient. Devoted. In love with me and only me. Her sole desire will be to serve and care for me, without jealousy, without resentment, and without hesitation. She’ll hate the woman she used to be—loathe her selfishness, her cruelty. And she’ll never forget how much she owes me.”

The woman before him was transformed into a vision of devoted elegance and submissive beauty, her appearance refined yet unmistakably designed to please. Her soft, delicate features glowed in the dim light, framed by dark, flowing hair styled with graceful precision. A delicate lace headpiece sat atop her head, crowning her like an obedient servant presenting her best self.
Her large, expressive eyes—now wide and adoring—glistened with an almost worshipful gaze, the tears of her earlier defiance long gone. Her skin was flawless, smooth, and porcelain-like, illuminated by a faint blush that lent her a doll-like innocence. Dangling earrings shimmered against her neck, drawing attention to the intricate lace collar wrapped tightly around her throat, a subtle symbol of her submission.
She wore an ornate, corseted ensemble that accentuated every curve, cinching her waist and lifting her figure into perfection. The white lace trim on her bodice contrasted sharply with the darker, tightly laced corset, combining purity and restraint into a single, compelling image. Her shoulders were bare, her posture demure yet inviting, as though waiting silently for instruction.
The way she stood—poised and still—gave her an air of complete devotion, her beauty polished to serve one purpose alone: to please. There was no trace left of the domineering woman she had once been, no hint of the cruel power she had wielded. Instead, she had become an embodiment of obedience, her only thoughts now cantered on how to serve and love the man she had so thoroughly broken before.
To Tom, it was a perfect irony. The woman who once sought to crush him with her power now stood before him—powerless, radiant, and utterly his.
“Master,” she said, her voice trembling with devotion. “What can I do for you?”
Tom studied her for a long moment, his emotions a mix of satisfaction, regret, and something he couldn’t quite name. “You’ll find out soon enough,” he said quietly.
For now, the coin was silent in his pocket, and the balance between them had shifted irrevocably.
