Chapter 9 by haileytraynor haileytraynor

What's next?

Madison goes after Alexa

After coming back to reality, Madison realized why Alexa had been so nervous. Her heart dropped in fear. “No no no,” Madison said. “Please. If I had known… oh no…”

Madison started running in the direction she saw Alexa go in the first place. Her heart raced. She hoped to catch up to Alexa, to help her, to comfort her, to do anything anything to allow her to know that nothing was going to change. Madison rushed, looking for Alexa as she had disappeared. Suddenly she stopped as she heard sobs coming from the left. She followed the sound, looking around.

“It’s over,” she heard a voice say. “I can’t believe I was such an idiot. God she probably thinks I’m some freak or some some baby! She saw… there’s no way she didn’t… she’s going to leave me. She’s going to laugh… she’s going to… it’s all over again. It’s happening again… just like Liam.”

Madison followed the voice and found Alexa curled in a ball, pressed against a stone wall. Madison’s heart broke as she saw how distraught the girl was. “Alexa… please,” Madison said. “Please, don’t be scared. Don’t be embarrassed. I’m not… I’m not like that… I promise.”

Alexa looked up and squeaked as she saw Madison standing in front of her. She followed Madison with her eyes as she knelt down. “You… you’re not?” Alexa whimpered.

“I would never do that,” Madison said. “I don’t think that you’re a freak or a baby or anything. I now understand why you were nervous and freaking out. But I want you to know that you don’t have to be scared. I’m not leaving you. Not over that.”

Alexa watched as Madison sat down next to her and wrapped an arm around her. Alexa allowed Madison to do so as she rested her head on Madison’s shoulder. “You’re not?” Alexa whispered.

“No,” Madison said. “You’re such a sweet girl, and this date was one of the best I’ve been on in a long time. A diaper is not going to chase me away.”

“It won’t?” Alexa whimpered.

“No. It won’t. I’m sorry that you felt like… that is what the outcome was going to be… that I’d leave you just because of something like that,” Madison said. “Whether it’s something you need or something that turns you on, I don’t care. I am not that person who will judge you for it. Alexa, I have… I have a confession. And I think you’ll appreciate it.”

Alexa nodded. “What is it?”

“I’m… I’m not… I wasn’t born this way,” Madison said.

“What do you mean?” Alexa asked.

“I’m trans,” Madison said. “A trans lesbian to be specific. I don’t put it on my bios and I honestly usually don’t tell my first dates either. But I’m telling you this because I want you to know that I know what it’s like to be judged unfairly for something I can’t control. Believe me, I understand a lot. The feeling of being judged because people think I’m not… not…”

“You don’t have to say it,” Alexa said. “I think I understand. I’ve… I’ve never told anyone about… my d-diapers. I’m too embarrassed. You know how I told you about my last date not going well… he… he learned about my d-diapers… it was a complete accident, and I expected him to laugh. I expected him to say something. Instead he snuck out the bathroom and left me to pay the bill. I never heard from him after that.”

“That’s so fucked up,” Madison said. “I’m sorry you went through that. I promise I’d never do that. I really like you.”

“You do?” Alexa said.

Madison smiled. “Yeah, I do,” she said as she leaned in, closing her eyes.

Alexa leaned forward as well doing the same. Her shoulders relaxed as their lips connected. And in that moment, Alexa was lost in her feelings and emotions for Madison, almost forgetting completely that she was still in her pull-up diaper and bra.

Alexa kissed Madison for a bit as she wrapped her arms around her neck. “Let me help you,” Madison whispered. “I promise you, I’ve got your back. I promise you, I’ll protect you.”

Alexa nodded and Madison gently lifted her up, carrying her bridal style as she headed to the car, placing Alexa into the front passenger seat, buckling her seatbelt for her. Only then did Alexa let go of Madison’s neck.

Madison smiled as she climbed into the driver’s seat and pulled away, heading back towards the neighborhoods. The only question in her mind was… which place would be better?

Whose place does Madison go to?
