Madeline Pays Orris 200 caps

"200 Caps it is." Madeline said "Half now--half when we get to the Strip."

"Fair Enough." Orris said with a shrug as he took half his payment.

The trip through Freeside was quite depressing as Madeline and Orris made their way through some of the most questionable areas Madeline had ever been through. Only on old tapes or in books had Madeline ever seen such dingy places. Children were hunting in packs for food from the occasional rad roach or mutated rat. Orris had to bust a few heads when some beggars approached Madeline. A few gangs of filthy looking men with improvised weapons hovered around Orris and Madeline but Orris was scary enough, and evidently had enough of a reputation to keep them at bay.

After the trek was done, she made good on her deal and payed him the other half. She was one step closer to finding the ERMA that was needed for the vault.
