Madeline Pays Loyal 1500 Caps for the ReBreather

"Deal." Madeline said

"What?" Loyal asked shocked.

"Here are your caps." Madeline rustled in her gear for the insane sum and handed it to Loyal before he could say anything else.

"Now," she added "I will be taking that Rebreathing device ."

He looked crestfallen as though he had hoped to make a different kind of deal with the lovely Madeline.

"Oh alright." he said taking his caps under his arm and shuffling off to get the Rebreather device. He returned and handed her the device.

"Thank you." Madeline said sarcastically.

"Good luck I guess." Loyal turned about and headed off briskly, his checks flushed in frustration.

Madeline collected her things and headed to Lake Mead.
