What does Madeline do?
Madeline Leaves the Followers of the Apocalypse
Madeline considered what staying could do for her and her mission. It would be a delay she invariably believed and so she decided to leave.
She thanked the followers for their kindness but explained that she had pressing matters to attend to. The doctors were sad to see her go.
But eventually she made her way through the worst of Freeside to the gate toward New Vegas' strip.

Lust, Lust never changes… The Great War of 2077 saw to it that the protagonest's family fled into the safety of a giant underground vault—Vault 69 just south of the Pre-war town of Primm, a suburb of the much more popular Vegas are of Nevada. Families lived in the vault for some time along with dozens of other families safe and sound away from the immediate atomic fire that fell from the sky and the latent radiation.
