Madeline Fails in Raising the B-29

Madeline dove into the water. As she opened her eyes she was shocked at how clear it was. It wasn't picture perfect, but clear enough. She could make out the ancient bomber laying like a fossil under the water, waiting to be excavated.

She had to avoid a pack of strange fish. Then she had to fight a Lakelurk with a knife. Luckily it was a small one. Something else with a frenzied kick. Down she went placing the special charges.

But another Lakelurk appeared. She didn't have enough equipment to handle another one, swim, and set the charges. If only she had been more prepared. She made a break for the shore. Her heart raced as she swam faster and faster. She didn't even have a chance to look back before she was sunk beneath the waters....
