Madeline Clears out the Ants the Old Fashioned Way

Madeline prepared herself to face the ants in the old Nellis Array. She was glad she had prepared. The ants were giant. Nearly the size of cows, Madeline thought. She blasted away making sure not to strike any sensitive equipment in the array. She noted a huge number of artillery shells in the area. A stray shot could have meant her doom. However, the little beasts weren't easy to take down. Their insectoid minds--while simple were tough to shut down. She blasted and reloaded, fired again and again clearing out each room slowly as she became a veritable exterminator.

Finally she was able to reset the array. She left much more tired and much lighter on ammo than she had wanted. But the job was done.

Power was back up and running and everyone at Nellis Air **** Base was grateful.
