Plucking the note from the landing gear, Mackenzie righted the fallen helicopter after a moment of hesitation. Whoever was piloting the infernal machine might have been toying with her, but they were also providing her with cover, albeit in a horribly teasing way. Once righted, the helicopter flew off, likely to return to the pilot for whatever they planned to do next.

Mackenzie looked over the writing of the note carefully, paying less attention to the words and more to their form. The redhead wasn't exactly trained in the art of analyzing handwriting, but she felt she knew at least some of her friends well enough to make a connection.

The handwriting was good, first and foremost. For being written on short notice, the penmanship was even and practiced. The i's and t's didn't have any unique style to them, which actually ruled out Marianne, as her t's had a distinct flourish. That still left Willow or Rachel as potential culprits, but Mackenzie wasn't too sure which one would make more sense. Perhaps she'd be able to figure out another clue with some more inspection?

As Mackenzie pored over the writing, she heard the distinct sound of the whirring helicopter blades. A glance upwards confirmed what Mackenzie already suspected. The helicopter had returned, another note in its gear, and besides that...
