Lyndsy raises her sword above Thom in a killing blow...

Lyndsy doesn't notice Thom reaching for the fallen candelabra. He grabs it and swings hard at her as she brings down her sword. It cuts into his shoulder, but not before the candelabra sweeps her legs out from under her.

Lyndsy falls and hits her head on the bureau, passing out immediately.

The Princess arrives with more guards, but Thom has put out the fire and tied up the **** spy. He can't help but puff his chest out as he explains what he saw (but not how he saw it).

"The King's Maiden must've sent her!" fumes Kelly. "Take her away. We'll give her to the orc too." She then turns to Thom: "You did well, Thom. Let me reward you. Do you want gold? Land?"

She notices how he looks at Lyndsy as the **** girl is carried out. "How about girls, Thom?" she asks with a knowing smile. "Perhaps one in particular?"
