Lunch with the boys

"Hey what's up man I'm kaminari and this little guy is mineta, welcome to UA... So tell us what you think so far, it's a total babe fest right!?!" The little guy gives an evil laugh of encouragement.

I'm a little taken aback "Oh hey yea I'm Seto... And yea I guess the girls here are all really pretty"

Both of the guys chuckle "Ah let me guess you were homeschooled by your pro hero parent weren't you? I've seen it before he is gonna be as repressed as todoroki was!" The little guy laughs again and nods in agreement.

"So has any girl really caught your eye yet? Come on man you can tell us"

"No no... Nothing like that... I was curious though... What's the name of that hopping girl?"

They both look at each other and grin ear to ear. The little guy starts yelling far to loudly "You have a thing for Tsu!?!... Shes cute and all but I never would have guessed that would be your first choice... I thought for sure you were gonna ask about Momo!"

I quickly look around to make sure no one heard him, thankfully it looks like everyone is too lost in there own conversations. Why would he be so loud, and even worse why did he he have to bring up Momo? I grab the little guy by the tie and shake my fist menacingly.

"Hey would you quite down!?! I never said I liked Tsu... Or Momo for that matter got it!?!... I bumped into Tsu in the hallway.. and and.. I don't even know who Momo is.. or whatever.. so drop it ok!?!!?

He closes his eyes and speaks in a softer condescending voice "ok ok man whatever you have to tell yourself, I'll drop it so you can keep that repressed stick up your butt"

Kaminari just laughs at both of us "jeez Mineta leave the guy alone, so he wants to marry Tsu and raise some tadpoles together, what's the big deal?"

I give him an evil glare as he laughs harder, I have to admit it was a good one. It takes me a moment to chill but I eventually do, I even manage a chuckle at myself for getting so fired up. We go on eating for a bit before kaminari pipes up with a question I really don't like.

"So tell us bro which hero is your dad?"

I cough on a bite of my food, damn I knew this question would come up but I'm still not excited to answer. Not only is it hard to be judged for having a pro parent, but mine has quite the hero persona to boot.

"Well... It's... Damn it's my mom actually... miss midnight... please don't make a big deal of it I've heard it all"

They both drop the utensils they are holding, with mouths agape they stare at me in disbelief.

They are at a complete loss for words, I knew this would happen. Bleh here comes the questions, let's just get this over with. The little purple guy speaks up first.

"Miss.... Midnight.... Is your mom!?!!... You are so lucky!!!!! she is my favorite hero!... What is she like at home?... Does she have a boyfriend?... Does she sleep naked!?!!" He is almost frothing at the mouth he is so excited. Though he is being more crass than most I'm used to this kind of stuff.

"She is always kind, she doesn't have a boyfriend, and hell if I know I'm not some pervert bro" I keep a mono tone voice every time I have to do this. The other guy pipes up now.

"I'm sorry about him he can be pretty dumb sometimes... But damn I can't believe you are actually her son! Do you have the same quirk as her?"

"Well sort of but not really.... Mine is a mutation of hers so they share some similarities but mine is definitely different."

"What was your dad's quirk??" My jaw clenches at this question.

"I don't know and don't want to" I see him wince, he can probably tell it's a sensitive topic for me.

"Oh sorry man I didn't mean too... Anyway that's extremely cool man I can't wait to see you in action"

I nod and smile to put him at ease, the little guy is sputtering and mumbling different questions in a frenzy. I give a little chuckle as I shush him.

"Alright bro I'll answer one question a day about my mom, sound fair?... So make this one count ok?"

"Um... Um... Um... What's her bra size!?!"

I close my eyes, unfortunately I know the answer to this one but hell if I'm gonna say it to this perv.

"Sorry bro don't know... and don't forget no more until tomorrow."

The rest of lunch goes pretty well, Mineta isn't my favorite person in the world be he seems alright when he isn't talking about my mom. Kaminari on the other hand seems pretty cool, he even used his quirk to charge my phone for me which I appreciate. After a good while the bell rings and we all head back into class.
