Loud and lovely.

I have a very enjoyable date with Flora. She and the other Filipinas are a lot of fun. They are such a friendly, welcoming bunch with wonderful senses of humour that just love to have a good time. It doesn’t hurt that so many of the other mums there are just as good looking as Flora. Tiny lean brown Goddesses surround me as I am once again **** to eat. The other thing to note is that they are so incredibly loud! They all seem to be competing to see who can talk the loudest and they insist on having their conversations shouted across the house from each other. I tell this to Flora when I have to escape outside for a little bit to save my hearing. A least out there it’s just the kids screaming.

At the end of the party, all the women seem to be in a race to take as much of the wonderful food home with them. Plastic takeaway containers are brought out and I see several women hiding up to six heavily laden containers into their bags. Flora is one of the last to leave and as I walk her and her kids to her car, she takes my arm in hers and walks leaning against me. As the kids strap themselves into their car seat Flora gives me a long kiss goodbye outside.

“I had a really great time today,” I tell her as I’m wishing her goodbye.

“Me too. If you wanted you could come and spend the night at my place sometime this week?” Flora offers.

I am so in at spending a night with Flora. The bathroom today was amazing but to have a bed to ourselves would be incredible.

“I’d love to, just say when,” I tell her.

“One night when I don’t have work the next day, so we can…” Flora hints at what she’s thinking too.

“Would your kids mind me spending the night with you?” I ask what might be the only complication.

“I’ll just tell them you’re a friend having a sleepover,” Flora explains our cover story.

“Sleepover. I like it.”

We swap a few more kisses quickly before Flora’s kids start yelling for her. They are starting to come down from a sugar rush after all the lollies they’ve had today. She tells me they’ll both be asleep in the car before she’s more than two minutes away.
