Locations, Characters, and Gadgets

Characters

Isabelle Albright (Iza Rez)
27 years old (18 in flashbacks)

Known to the wealthier gang leaders and overworked cops of The Undercity as Iza Res, Isabelle Albright was once the only daughter of CEO and wetware mogul Henry Albright, patriarch of one of the wealthiest families alive. Trapped like a princess in a tower, waiting to be married off to the richest investor who could pay, she spent her developing years finding subtle ways to rebel under tight supervision. Then, after sneaking out to her first illicit party at 18 years of age, that all changed. The years that followed, spent trapped in the seedy underbelly of The City, transformed her from lithe damsel to cutthroat mercenary. Yes, she now has her freedom from her father, but in one unavoidable way, she is still shackled.

Samantha Cannbie
MIA (23 in flashbacks)

Isabelle's secret friend from her childhood. The two met at a corporate ball hosted by Isabelle's father when Isabelle was fifteen and the two took a liking to each other. Such connections between young women among the middle and ruling classes of The Suburbs were monitored and discouraged, but Sam was as clever as she was savvy with security. The older friend would regularly sneak into Isabelle's bedroom and provide a much needed friendship.

Locations

The City
Largest metropolis on the planet, at this point known to its inhabitants and neighbors simply as "The City." Its buildings are so tall and dense that it is almost impossible to distinguish individual towers from a distance. Heavily stratified by class, the rich work at the top, and the poor suffer at the bottom.

The Undercity
Section of the city that expanded out of an old underground multi-block commercial complex that now reaches thirty floors underground and houses some of the poorest and most criminal elements of The City. For anyone looking to hide, The Undercity is home. Safety is another matter.

The Suburbs
A facsimile of 20 and 21st century American suburban communities, The Suburbs is a tightly controlled sprawl of houses build out of the planet's rarest materials. While boasting the most advanced security system on the continent, and housing some of the largest owners of technology based firms, the Suburbs is designed in every way to appear "natural" and unadulterated by the dark turns in cybernetic components and augmentation. Simplicity is opulence.

Technology

Chastity Band: A bracelet attached to the daughters of the wealthiest families soon after birth. Impossible to remove by any known means, the band is glued permanently to the forearm and monitors the subjects "purity." Tapping the band twice will trigger a scan. Assuming the subject is 100% biological, free of any synthetic **** or nanites, and has never been sexually penetrated, the band will flash green three times. Additional features unknown. No one ever talks about what happens when a band goes red.

Nymprofen (street name, Virgintamer): A potent **** currently off the radar of even the City's most informed law agencies. Extracted from a rare herb off-continent, its use is currently unknown, but the effect of its consumption is something our protagonist will soon be intimately familiar with.
