It wasn't a long walk from the village to **** Mountain's peak, and the journey was much easier with Link's improved height and rock-hard skin. The more he walked, the more he wondered if going to see Darunia would genuinely help, but it was still the best shot he had. Once he had reached the Fire Temple, Link asked aloud if Darunia, Sage of Fire, would appear before a supplicant.

In a flash of fire, Darunia appeared, looking confused. "Who are you? And why have you come to me, weird creature?"

Frowning a little at that comment, Link told Darunia who he was, and what had happened to him. Darunia listened, then nodded.
