Link found a fairy fountain in an unexpected location.

Having just finished clearing out the Fire Temple of monsters and reawakening Darunia as the Sage of Fire, Link was leaving the Temple of Time and was about to use his ocarina to teleport to Saria's spot, as a shortcut to where he thought he had to go next, but something caught his eye instead. A rock. Rather, a rock that Link had not noticed before, in one corner of the yard in front of the temple. Curious, he pulled out a bomb from his bag and blew the rock up, revealing a hole in the ground. Intrigued, Link entered it and found a Fairy Fountain, of the same make and model he had seen before occupied by Great Fairies. He walked up to the fountain, stood upon the Triforce symbol inlaid on the ground, and played Zelda's Lullaby on his ocarina. With a roar of laughter, an enormously tall woman with red hair and little clothing emerged from the water as he finished the song, and she looked at him with a sultry gaze. "Hero of Time, I see you are weary and tired. Have you come to rest in my spring?" Link shook his head, and he was feeling fine. She seemed a little put-off by that. "Well then, since you're the first mortal to gaze upon me in centuries, I suppose a boon is due. What would you have of me?"
