Lindsay Alistair

Lindsay, fresh out of business school and was hired right away by Mrs. Claire Burke. She still couldn't believe she was working at Burke's Boutique, and all of those wonderful clothes were within her reach and with store discount, there were plenty of pieces she wanted to add to her collection.

Today, she wore her favorite white short and wearing a brown skirt and blazer, that was simular to the one Mrs. Burke generally wears to work. And after a hair cut, styled close to Claire's, they could pass as sisters.

She looked at herself in the reflection in the door, straightens her blazer and walked inside. She stopped as soon as she saw Claire and Debbie standing at the till. The way Claire looked at her was a look of embarrassment. Did she do something wrong?

Then everything seemed to go back to normal. Debbie looked a little flushed but seemed normal so Lindsay assumed there was nothing wrong and, got herself ready to work with Mrs. Burke. Lindsay was not gay and wasn't in love with Claire. It was more hero worship than anything else. Here was a woman that had multiple stores and could hire anyone and she choose the girl right out of college.

By lunchtime, Lindsay knew something was up. Debbie did everything Claire said to her, there was no back talk or grumbling about it. She did everything like it was her pleasure to do it. And there were the small glances from Debbie, the way she looked at Claire when she thought no one was looking.

It was a little later in the day when Debbie came up to Lindsay. Debbie was under the order not to tell about her revelation that she was gay and that their boss was a priestess to a Goddess. But she could hear the whispers from the idol tucked away in the office. The whispers told her to give it to Lindsay and allow her to join them.

"Claire got something special on her vacation," Debbie said. "It is in her office."

"What was it?"

"I got to show you but I can let Caire see. So you keep her by the till, facing the door, and I will get the surprise."

Lindsay thought this was a little sneaky but she was curious and finally agreed to Debbie's plan. When she got Claire upfront, she watched Debbie take a small something from her purse and pointed towards the changing room.
